Five Moulsecoomb families came into school over half term to help design and make three mosaic panels for the Moulsecoomb Forest Garden's new compost loo.
We designed the mosaics together using everyones drawings on the theme of "Gardens and Forests" and then we traced the design onto the plywood base. We used glass mosaic tiles that had to be broken into small peices with pliers, and we all worked together to glue to tiles onto the board over the tiled design.
Everyone worked really hard to get the three panels finished and they were delivered to the Forest Garden ready for the open day on Friday. They looked fantastic when they were in place inside the new loo, and Warren and Daisy are really happy with them. If you go to the Forest Garden, have a lookl!
